Dutch Mt Everest 2004 Expedition Update

Wilco van Rooijen, Rex Snelder ,Ron Doorakkers and Dawa sherpa pitched two tents and stay for the night. Tomorrow they will try to climb to camp 3 and pitch a tent there! It was a long and hard journey. Prem the other sherpa is ill and returned this morning to ABC.

Wilco van Rooijen announced last week he will attempt Mt Everest from the North side in spring 2004 without oxygen. He will go with Rex Snelders (attempt on Manaslu 2003) and possibly Ron Doorakkers (McKinley 2003) then descend with a paraglider from the summit!!
